Why we started.
We spent years inside traditional publishing and watched talented authors get blindsided — by revision overages, by ISBN fees nobody mentioned, by royalty structures buried in page 14 of a contract.
Otic Press exists to fix that. Every service we offer comes with a transparent price. No surprise invoices. No fine print that changes the math after you've already started.
We're a small team of editors, designers, and publishing strategists who believe the author should always know exactly what they're paying for — and why.

Every service has a published price. No quotes that balloon after the fact, no tiers designed to confuse. You know what you're paying before you commit.
Author-first contracts.
You own your work. Always. We don't take royalties, we don't claim rights, and we don't lock you into exclusivity. Your book is yours.
No upsells mid-project.
We scope the work upfront. If something changes, we tell you before we do it — not after. The price you calculate is the price you pay.
The refund policy should be easy to find.
It's on the pricing page, not buried in a FAQ. If we haven't started your project, you get a full refund minus a 5% payment processing fee. If we have, you're refunded for anything not yet started. No cancellation fees.
