The number you see is the number you pay. We don't add fees after you've started, and we don't charge for revisions beyond what's listed in each service.
Submit your project
10 minutesFill out a short intake form with your manuscript details, timeline, and the services you've selected. Attach your manuscript file (Word or Google Doc). We'll confirm your quote within one business day.
Your confirmed quote is your invoice. Nothing changes between the intake form and the final bill.
Editorial pass
2–4 weeksYour assigned editor works through your manuscript and returns it with tracked changes and a summary letter. You review, accept or reject changes, and return it for a final check.
Each editorial service includes the revision rounds listed on the pricing page. We don't charge for additional back-and-forth within those rounds.
Design & formatting
1–2 weeksOur designer creates your cover based on a brief you complete at intake. Interior formatting follows once the edited manuscript is finalized. You receive proofs for approval before anything goes to print.
Cover design includes 2 revision rounds. Interior formatting includes 3. Source files are delivered with your final package.
Publishing setup
3–5 business daysWe register your ISBN in your name, set up your KDP and/or IngramSpark accounts, upload your files, and configure metadata, categories, and pricing. You approve everything before it goes live.
You own the ISBN, the accounts, and 100% of your royalties. We hand over full credentials when setup is complete.
Launch
Your timelineYour book goes live on the channels you've chosen. If you've added marketing support, we execute your ARC distribution and launch plan in parallel. You receive a final delivery package with all files and account credentials.
We stay available for 30 days post-launch for questions about your accounts, royalty dashboards, and distribution status — at no additional charge.

Common questions.
From intake to published book, most projects take 6–10 weeks depending on manuscript length and which services you've selected. Developmental editing adds the most time. We'll give you a specific timeline estimate when we confirm your quote.
You can hire us for a single service — just copyediting, just cover design, just KDP setup. The calculator lets you select exactly what you need. There's no minimum order.
For editorial services, yes — we work on complete manuscripts. For cover design, you can start earlier since we only need your title, subtitle, and genre. For publishing setup, we need final formatted files.
We accept manuscripts in .docx (Microsoft Word) or Google Docs. For publishing setup, we work with the files produced by our formatting service, or with print-ready PDFs and EPUBs you provide.
Each service includes a defined number of revision rounds. If the delivered work doesn't meet the brief you provided at intake, we'll make it right within those rounds at no charge. If we can't resolve it, we'll refund that service.
Yes. If you need to pause, we hold your project for up to 60 days. If you cancel, you're refunded for any services not yet started. We don't charge cancellation fees.
